Easter Weekend Hours
Easter weekend holiday hours and service updates
Our Township office will be closed on Friday, April 3. It will reopen on Monday, April 6 at 8:30 a.m.
There are no changes to curbside collection due to the holiday, but our Waste Transfer Station on Scott Road will be closed on Saturday, April 4.
Both arenas, including the Ingredion Centre Walking Track, will be closed on Friday, April 3.
Our libraries will be open regular hours on Saturday, April 4, but they will be closed on Monday, April 6.

A new Community Safety Zone (CSZ) has been established near Centennial '67 Public School. Fines for traffic violations are doubled in CSZ. The posted speed limit of 50km/hr remains in place.

The Spencerville Branch of the Edwardsbrugh Cardinal Public Library was full of excitement today as Fire Chief Brian read No Dragons for Tea and shared fire safety tips with kids.
This past March Break was a challenging week with several fatal fires that destroyed multiple families, devastated our communities, and indiscriminately took the lives of children and adults alike. Our thoughts are with the families and loved ones of everyone impacted by these fires.
The Township of Edwardsburgh Cardinalis taking a significant step to enhance pedestrian safety with the installation of three new Rapid Rectangular Flashing Beacon (RRFB) Pedestrian Crossovers (PXOs) at key locations in Spencerville and Cardinal.
If you own a private well, you know it is important to sample your water regularly. Well water quality may fluctuate seasonally, so the Health Unit recommends testing in the Spring, Summer and Fall. The Township keeps a supply of free water sample kits on hand, but until now, residents would still need to travel to a drop off location in Brockville or Kemptville to have their sample tested.
