It is time once again to nominate the Township of Edwardsburgh Cardinal’s Citizen of the Year! 

 

 

If you know of an individual you believe to have uniquely contributed to the community, please submit a nomination. Your efforts may help ensure that special individual receives the recognition he or she deserves at an upcoming award ceremony later this year.

 Please submit nominations by November 20, 2024 using the forms linked below.

CRITERIA FOR NOMINATIONS
YOUTH CITIZEN OF THE YEARCITIZEN OF THE YEAR
  • Youth ages 12-17 that are making a positive impact in their communities
  • Nominations must be submitted on the prescribed form – available on the municipal website online submission, by e-mail or at the Township Office
  • Contribute both their time and energy to making improvement to the well-being of the Township
  • Only individuals are eligible, not groups.
  • Community service contributions may be related to recreation, the arts, education, humanities, community services, medical, business, or commerce fields
  • Nominee must be a resident of the Township of Edwardsburgh Cardinal.
  • Demonstrates leadership, innovation, or creativity
  • Nominations will be reviewed by Council and their decision will be final.
  • Only individuals are eligible, not groups
  
  • Nominee must be a resident of the Township of Edwardsburgh Cardinal
  
  • More than one person or group may nominate the same individual
  
  • Nominations must be submitted on the prescribed form – available on the municipal website online submission, by e-mail or at the Township Office
  
  • Nominations can be submitted with a supporting video nomination
  
  • Parental/Guardian consent form must be provided with all video nominations
  
  • Nominations will be reviewed by Council and their decision will be final
