Arena and Skating
The Township of Edwardsburgh Cardinal operates two community arenas — one at the Spencerville Community Centre and one at the Ingredion Centre in Cardinal. We offer seasonal ice based programming, such as public skating, and host many organizations and groups using the arenas year-round for hockey, figure skating, drop-in programs, tradeshows, dance showcases, private functions and more.

Indoor pickleball
Pickleball will be available on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. until Tuesday, July 23rd, 2024. We will have three courts and you can play doubles or singles. This program will be free to all and for those of all ages and skill levels. No registration required, we ask you to bring appropriate indoor footwear. Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult. View the Spencerville Pickleball Rules and Court Guidelines.
Skating programs
The Township and our generous partners host free and paid public skating programs during the fall and winter months for residents to enjoy. Participants can drop in to register, check availability. Drop in ice time is also available during regular operating hours when no rentals are booked. Please check availability before dropping in and view our rental rates.

Arena advertising
Arena advertising lets your business reach a wide audience of local consumers. You can purchase advertising space at both the Spencerville community arena and at the Ingredion Centre's arena in Cardinal.
Please provide all signs, stencils and Lexan, if required, for board and ice advertisements. A surcharge to reinstall advertising of $50 applies for each renewal.
Available options include:
- Spencerville arena wall advertisement (four feet by eight feet): $100 per year
- Spencerville arena board advertisement: $500 per year
- Ingredion Centre board advertisement: $500 per year
- Purchase a board advertisement at Ingredion Centre ($500) and receive a second board advertisement at the Spencerville arena for half price ($250).
