There is a lot for Families to enjoy in the Township of Edwardsburgh Cardinal. Check out kids programming offered at our Public Libraries or from one of our Community Organizations. We also offer seasonal swimming programs and public skating each year at our public pools and arenas. 

Kids inflatable day

The Township of Edwardsburgh Cardinal Parks & Recreation Department, in partnership with Tribeck Inflatables, hosts a Free Inflatable Day each year at the Ingredion Centre, located at 4050 Dishaw Street, Cardinal.

Children of all ages are invited to enjoy a variety of inflatables, including slides, bounce houses, and interactive play structures. No registration is required—just drop in and have fun.

Kids art class

The Spencerville District Optimist Club, in partnership with our parks and recreation department, are offering Thursday evening art classes for kids ages 7 to 11. Classes are taught by two enthusiastic instructors at the South Edwardsburgh Community Centre (24 Sutton Dr. Johnstown). The cost is $20 per child for four classes, refunds will not be issued. Please note, limited spots available. Registration for our February session of art class is now available.

Holiday cookie decorating

This event is hosted annually during the holiday season at the South Edwardsburgh Community Centre (24 Sutton Dr. Johnstown). This free event is for children of all ages, registration is required.  Watch for the next date for come cookie making holiday fun!
