Cavanaugh Construction will be completing time sensitive work to connect phase one and three water and sewer mains beneath the railway tracks at Bridge Street and County Road 2.

The work will commence Friday October 13^th and will continue straight through to the morning of Sunday October 15^th. It will involve removing a portion of the railway track, excavation, installing cement chambers, new water and sanitary mains and re-instating the railway track. One lane of County Road 2 traffic will remain open with brief full closure at the beginning and end of the operation for track removal/reinstatement. Heavy machinery and possibly hydro-vacuuming trucks will be used during this time frame. These operations may result in excess noise during day and night time hours. This critical work is being performed in this time frame to reduce the impact of railway traffic.
