The Council of the Township of Edwardsburgh Cardinal hereby proclaims October 8 to 14, 2023 as Fire Prevention Week in the Township of Edwardsburgh Cardinal. 

This year Fire Prevention Week focuses on “Cooking safety starts with YOU. Pay attention to fire prevention.”

Did you know that cooking fires are the leading cause of home fire and home fire injuries? The campaign works to educate everyone about simple but important actions they can take when cooking to keep themselves and those around them safe.
