Poison Parsnip
Roadside weed spraying will take place in spring 2025 to help keep roads clear and safe. Spraying is planned between May 20 and June 20, depending on the weather.

Why spraying happens

Spraying helps:

  • Keep roads and signs easy to see
  • Improve drainage
  • Prevent trees and brush from growing too close to the road
  • Stop the spread of harmful and invasive weeds

Only unmaintained ditches will be sprayed. Yards and ditches that are mowed and maintained will not be sprayed.

County-wide roads and guide rails

The United Counties of Leeds and Grenville will also spray:

  • Select sections on County Roads 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24 25, 43 and 44
