All entranceway requests on Township of Edwardsburgh Cardinal roads are reviewed by the Roads Superintendent to ensure safety, free flow of traffic, and compliance with the Entranceway Bylaw. Please note that entranceway permits for County roads are issued by the United Counties of Leeds & Grenville.

You can also download a copy of the form to complete. Please submit your completed application with the administration fee of $100 and cost of the culvert, $700. You can mail or drop off your applications at the Township Office:

What to expect

Once the entrance permit application form and payment are received:

  1. The Roads Superintendent will inspect the location and advise if a culvert is required or not.
  2. If a culvert is not required, we will refund $700 for the cost of the culvert.
  3. Once feasible, Public Works staff will install the entranceway and culvert.
