The Township of Edwardsburgh Cardinal collects brush and leaf waste from households within the Villages of Cardinal, Spencerville, Johnston and New Wexford in the spring (May) and fall (November). During these months, we offer free disposal at the Waste Transfer Station on Scott Road for all residents looking to dispose of their brush and leaf waste.

The Waste Transfer Station also accepts this waste throughout the remainder of the year at a rate of $5 per load.

Christmas tree collection

We collect Christmas trees in the villages of Cardinal, Spencerville, Johnstown and New Wexford in early January every year, as time and weather permit. Please remove all decorations before disposing your tree.
